Although many still debate the origins of tarot, the idea that it originated in Egypt has largely subsided, as no conclusive evidence of this exists. This, however, is a well respected Egyptian themed tarot card deck. The images for this deck were originally first painted onto parchment. I love the images on these cards and they are of excellent quality. The pip cards do not include pictorials in the way that many modern decks do, although there is still some Egyptian imagery present. This tarot card deck is suitable for experienced tarot readers or those with a particular interest in Egyptian mythology.
